Four former aides in a Minneapolis nursing home were sued Tuesday over allegations that several residents were being abused. Two of the aides were criminally charged with several counts of abuse for groping, spanking and spitting on some of the residents about a year ago.
The lawsuit was filed by four of the residents who were allegedly abused. They also sued the nursing home, saying the aides were not properly supervised. A spokesman for the nursing home said the nursing home handled the situation correctly once it learned of the abuse.
